Jelly Bean

Small canal boat Jelly Bean was moored by the lock staircase at Caen Hill on the Kennet & Avon Canal, when I met Georgie and her little Jack Russell. Using her canal boat to split time between a rural and an urban life, here was an example of a boat as an alternative choice of home for a young working person. Inside were domestic keepsakes and mementos, as well as the practical necessities of everyday life. It was a charming space and Georgie radiated contentment. Highly recommended.
